RAH! The Christmas album was a great TRIUMPH! Hopefully we brightened up a few Festive PERIODS but alas to say there are no copies left so check your bargain bins, 2nd hand record shops and ebay if you want to pick one up cheap!

NEWS you say? Well - there is RUMOUR of a new MJ Hibbett & The Validators single to precede the album which is now loosely scheduled for "the summer" or maybe earlier if fingers are pulled out on the mixing and VALIDATING front

Two things of grate MAGICALITY to report

1) Those cheeky scamps PLANS & APOLOGIES have just gone FREE DOWNLOAD kerazeee and made not only the first album ("Torn Out Pagez From The Middle Ages") availble to download (now it has all but sold out - only about 5 copies left) but ALSO a brand new EP of tracks as a special cousin to the Tree Dee Pee EP - the FREE DEE PEE EP! All this can be GRABBED for FREE (did we mention it was FREE?) from the P&A Sexy WebPage

2)We will be releasing a limited edition Christmas Card CD compilation featuring our beautiful artistes doing a christmas song each.

If that's not enough - they also do a non-christmas song in order to give you something that you can carry on playing the whole year through should you so desire.

And if THAT is STILL not enough…it will be completely FREE (see how we SPOIL you?)

Copies will be available in Awarding-winning record shop Reveal Records of Derby and for those who aren't within PUNTING distance of Derby city centre, there will be 50 available to order (still FREE) from HERE once the CD is available.

It's also our 50th release (yeah OK some of them weren't records, one was a clock, one was a trophy and a couple were "special" webpages) and is a damn fine way of spunking 800 quid of our own money up the wall for the sake of the lickle baby jesus. It will come in a sexy cardboard wallet christmas card style sleeve and will (hopefully) look GRATE!

We may have been quiet for a while but there are GOOD things on the horizon!

August 2005 sees the long-awaited DOWNLOAD-ONLY retrospective from JOHNNY DOMINO
AAS046 - The Best Of The Shithouse Masters
contains the cream of their early (pre-Rabbit Themes) recordings, including a rather wonderful cover version of Steve Miller's Abracadabra

Also in August, MJ Hibbett & His Validators will be de-camping to Cornwall to record the 3rd full-length album, provisionally entitled "Mental Judo" - which will be released late 2005 / early 2006 depending on how the mixing goes!

Continuing with the DOWNLOAD-ONLY theme, we'll be releasing retrospectives from two other AAS alumni - the LAZER GUIDED anthology AAS047 "Flying Discs For Dogs" and the remnants of the SIENNA back catalogue AAS048 "Where Were You When Diana Died?"....so keep checking back for more news on those!

AAS on the radio AGANE!! Huw Stephens played Eggbound Mutebone from the fabulous new Plans & Apologies EP on his Radio 1 show last Tuesday. He seemed jolly enthusiastic about the band too, so hopefully he will repeat the STUNT again very soon. It is a SIGN that you should all buy it!
