HAS ANYBODY SEEN OUR COCKS?

THE WORLD OF AAS rocked to its very arse this week, when instead of releasing the GRATE album "Come And See" by the Fighting Cocks, they found themselves scouring the planet for any trace of these feisty noiseniks. The last thing heard from them was just before Glastonbury, when they stated they were merrily manufacturing this triumph of beats, tunes, and shouting, but afterwards they were nowhere to be found. People In London have been alerted, and vague reports have heard of various members walking around with suitcases, whilst others were reported to be both on the way to Budapest and, simultaneously, sitting in pubs.

Have YOU seen a member of The Fighting Cocks? Do you have information which may lead to their whereabouts being ascertained? If so, email our hotline NOW. All statements will be treated in fairly strict confidence, unless they are particularly funny. Remember, 90% of bands do NOT go missing a week before their album's meant to come out so please don't have nightmares.

EVERYBODY IN THE STUDIO

"Just about ALL our GRATE bands have been in the studio this month. LAZER GUIDED were in the other weekend, recording their new single "Forget to Fade Out", which is being released in August as a split with Mars via Reading Popsters SALOON (their side being "Futurismo"). It'll be a spaced out, rum-rock FIESTA, and we look forward to it with PRIDE.

Meanwhile PALA and STUMBLE have already been recording new singles, which may be out on AAS in the future, pending NEGOTIATION, and That. Pala's is called "First To The Moon", while Stumble's will probably be "How Many Times Do I Have To Kill You Before You Die", both rocking like BEASTS. They excite us, as they tantalise us.

And still there's more - JOHNNY DOMINO continue working on the follow up to "Rabbit Themes" at home, occasionally breaking cover to GRIN at Board Members and be EXCITED about it, latest news being of a track called "Joannie Domimo". It recognises their feminine side. Yes. Over in Leicester MJ HIBBETT finally draws to the end of sessions for his album - an amazing 28 songs are now recorded, just requiring the traditional trumpet, violins, mouth organ, choir and kazooo overdubs. Many of these are to be done by FRANKIE MACHINE, The New Name For Lukewarm Skywater, who's AT LAST getting into the studio to do his own album. And finally, ROCKIN' DUDES, THE WANDRIN' ALLSTARS are reconvening soon to Lay Down the mighty follow-up to "Good People Of America", and QUITE POSSIBLY prepare for some actual gigs... and talking of which...
